How to Enjoy Better Health With Natural Remedies

As Natural Remedy items and prescriptions hit the drug stores & pharmacies faster and faster, individuals don’t seem to understand the huge advantages that can be gained by the utilization of these Natural Remedies. Most Natural Remedies have few if any side effects, they don’t do any permanent damage and they are not life threatening, contrasted with conventional medication. In spite of the fact that there are numerous over the counter and physician endorsed medications accessible for indigestion help, Natural Remedy solutions for these ailments might be similarly as compelling and cause less side effects. You have likely observed the ads on TV for another customary solution for something as straightforward as acid reflux, however the disclaimers for the medication list are tenfold the number of conceivable impending side effects as the single ailment that it should fix!

There are many Natural Remedies and foods that a few specialists consider as natural cures and options in contrast to professionally prescribed medications. Some clinical specialists consider the Natural Remedies to really be better than conventional medications in some instances as a result of the outstandingly shorter rundown of adverse reactions. For example, drinking baking soda mixed with water can greatly improve an upset stomach. As can ginger root when cooked with foods or the spice ginger can be sprinkled on foods to ease stomach upset. These are just a few of the Natural Remedies available for an upset stomach which have no known side effects to our knowledge.

Improving wellbeing through the use of Natural Remedies or home grown cures ought to be monitored by your physician especially if you are taking prescription drugs and combining herbs with these prescription drugs. There might be some concoction clashes that while not evident, your PCP can inform you about. You might want to start to incorporate the advantages of Natural Remedies into your regular daily routine by loading your medication bureau with home grown cures but checking with your doctor first. For instance, rhubarb is one of the solutions for GI and renal function disorders utilized by traditional Chinese medicine. There are no known side effects found from eating the rhubarb itself, however the rhubarb leaves are toxic if eaten. Therefore, it is important to do some research before engaging in Natural Remedies so that you will be informed as to what will be helpful and what can actually harm you.

Other Natural Remedies include Magnetic Therapy and acupuncture. Both of these therapies can help with many ailments with little if any side effects. In any case, much the same as with customary doctor prescribed prescriptions, be certain that you comprehend what you are treating, and make certain to treat the malady and not simply the manifestation. For instance, before you treat the symptoms of your bothersome skin rash, it is imperative to comprehend what might be the underlying cause of your rash so that you can forestall further flare-ups and treat the cause.

Local Raw Honey for Natural Healing

Local raw honey is a great addition to your basket of natural healing remedies.  Many of us have heard about the benefits of using honey for allergies. I have personally used honey for my children’s allergies for over 10 years with amazing success!!  And we are still using honey today for allergies and coughs.  Starting the use of honey before allergy season is best.  Using a tablespoon of honey at night for coughs is extremely helpful based on my personal experiences.  There is some discussion about what age raw local honey can be administered so please check with your physician or do some research before using raw honey on a child younger than 12 years of age.

What I didn’t know about raw local honey are all the other health benefits that exist with its use!

Honey can aid in the healing of various ailments.

Some of the benefits are:

  • Reducing Body Fat & Cholesterol
  • Lowering Stress
  • Inhibiting the Growth of Colon Cancer
  • Boosting Brain Health & Memory
  • Lessening coughs
  • Added energy for Athletes
  • Lower Blood Pressure
  • Helps with Liver Damage

This information was obtained from the Angela Ysseldyk, a Nutritionist & Beekeeper’s Daughter.  Her website is www.bee-pollen-buzz.com.  The list of ailments that can be treated is long and I have not included them all here.  See her website for a more in-depth look at what can be healed and why.  She sells raw honey, bee pollen and other products on her site that are natural and seem very helpful.

My fiancée brought home two big beautiful bouquets of flowers for me one night.  Very thoughtful & sweet!!  However, my dog began sneezing, had a runny nose and was almost seizing.  I had no idea what was going on with her and why she was reacting this way suddenly.  I thought it could possibly be allergies and gave her some honey.  The honey helped to relieve her symptoms and when I stopped the honey her symptoms returned.  I still brought her to the vet just to be sure and they went through her symptoms and examined her.  They said she quite possibly was allergic to the flowers and should be given an antihistamine.

I had no idea that a dog could be allergic to flowers!!!  The flowers were lilies and my dog was not only allergic, but apparently they could have killed my cat if he had eaten them!! If you have pets, check online, with your florist or vet about the possible effects on your pet before bringing home a new flower/plant, especially with the upcoming holidays.

Happy Holidays,

Is the Number 3 a Holy Number?

Is the #3 a Holy Number?

In numerology the number 3 values communication and creative energy.  Numerology is the science of divining information about life through numbers.   It has been around for about 2,500 years.

Pythagoras, a Greek mathematician, philosopher, and theorist, born in the sixth century B.C., created the Pythagorean Number System.  He is regarded as the founder of the science of geometry, especially the Pythagorean theorem, which we all know as the formula for a triangle.  Pythagoras realized that numbers are the very foundation of the universe, and his research gave rise to the science of Numerology.  All of this is taken from my favorite numerologist Glynis McCants and her book “Glynis Has Your Number.”  Check out her site by clicking here for some fascinating insights that might change your life!

So, in numerology, the number 12 breaks down to the number 3.  You add 1 + 2 = 3Numerology is based on the numbers 1-9.  There are no double digit numbers, so every number breaks down to a number between 1-9.

That being said, there are many, many instances in religion where the number 3 and the number 12 (the sum of 2) are noted repeatedly.

Christianity:

There are 3 Wiseman or 3 Kings.
They brought 3 gifts, Gold, Frankincense & Myhrr.
There are 3 members of Jesus’s family, Jesus, Mary & Joseph.
Peter denies knowing Jesus 3 times & later says he loves him 3 times.
Jesus raised 3 persons from the dead (or only 3 were recorded).
Jesus answered Satan’s 3-fold temptation by citing 3 scriptural passages.
Paul was blinded for 3 days by Jesus, prayed 3 times for his “thorn in the flesh” to be removed, and he was stranded on the island of Malta after his shipwreck for 3 months.
Jesus prayed to God 3 times in the Garden of Gethsemane.
The inscription on Jesus’s cross was in 3 languages.
Jesus was crucified at the 3rd hour and was on the cross for 3 hours.
There were 3 hours of darkness that covered the land while Jesus was suffering on the cross.
Jesus rose on the 3rd day.
The 3rd day was April 8th (48 = 12 which 1+23).
The Holy Trinity (3) – Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
The 12 Apostles (1 + = 3).
Jesus’s birth month is December or the 12th month (1 + 3).

The Bible:

The Old Testament consists of 3 parts, 1-the Torah or Law, 2-Nevi’im or the Prophets, 3-Ketuvim or the Writings.
The Patriarchs are 3-Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.
Noah had 3 sons.
Job had 3 daughters.
The 3 sons of Adam – Abel, Cain & Seth.
The Ark of the Covenant contained 3 sacred objects – the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded and the stone tablets of the covenant or 10 Commandments.
Moses’s mother was able to conceal her baby for 3 months.
Daniel regularly prayed 3 times a day giving thanks to God.
Israelite men were required to appear before the Lord 3 times in a year, the Feast of the Unleavened Bread, the Feast of the Weeks, and the Feast of the Tabernacles.
The Men of Timnah were stumped by Samson’s riddle for 3 days.
Only 3 angles are mentioned by name in the Bible, Michael, Gabriel & Lucifer.
Jonah spent 3 days in the belly of the “great fish.”
There were 12 tribes in Israel (1 + 3).
Jacob had 12 sons which were the heads or fathers of each of the 12 tribes of Israel (1 + 3).
Between the number 3 and 12, these two numbers are used 654 times.

Buddhism:

3 Jewels – Buddha, Dharma & Sangha.
Prostrations.
3 sticks of incense.
Ceremonial Procession around a temple or tomb 3 times.

So, you decide.  Is 3 a Holy Number?
